Service Description
This course is designed for anyone who may encounter asbestos in workplaces or a in home. It is also helpful for those involved in managing asbestos in buildings. Knowledge you will get from this course: background about the nature & uses of asbestos in buildings, health hazards of asbestos exposures, relevant regulatory requirements (specific to Ontario), and a brief overview of what asbestos work operations involve. NOTE: this course is awareness-level only. It does NOT cover the required training content for performing asbestos work. The course is delivered by webinar via Zoom. Payment must be submitted at least 5 business days before the course date. Pricing is on a per-person basis. Tax (HST) is additional to the course price. Once payment is received, an email will be sent to you with the Zoom course log-in info, as well as a separate email with the course handout (PDF) which you can save for future reference and/or print to take notes during the session.
Cancellation Policy
Payment is non-refundable if you cancel your attendance less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled course date & time. However, you can reschedule to attend another session at a later date. To do so, please send an email to mkelly@excelsiorenv.com.
